Dinner Tonight - Chicken with Farfel

Here is a twist on the traditional chicken and rice dish. For dinner tonight I made chicken with farfel. It is a great one dish meal. All you have to do is add a salad or veggie and you are all set. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 chickens cut into pcs.
-
5 Tbs. onion soup mix
-
10 oz apricot preserves
-
1 small bottle russian dressing
-
1 can mushrooms (optional)

2 packs farfel
-
4 cups boiling water

Instructions
Pour farfel into bottom of a pan. Place chicken on top and sprinkle wit 3 Tbs. soup mix. Add water.
Mix preserves, dressing and rest of soup mix. Pour 1/2 of mixture over chicken. Cover and bake on 350 for 1 hor.
uncover, glaze with rest of sauce mixture and bake for additional 45 minutes.
