Hey guys! I have been a little crazy this week: Catered an engagement party on Monday, My mother-in-law came into town on Tuesday, We have shiur on Wednesday, Made dinner for someone on Thursday night and making a welcome package to send to someone new in town on Friday. So I apologize for my blog being a little bland this past week. we have a great Shabbos menu planned and hopefully next week we will be back in action. Let me know if you need any of the recipes! Here is what I made:

1 box macaroni
-
1.5 cups plus a drop mayonnaise
-
4 oz vinager
-
salt
-
6.4 oz sugar
-
colored peppers
-
carrot
Instructions
Cook macaroni according to directions on the box. Drain and rinse well.
Mix dressing ingredients together and pour over pasta.
Chop peppers and carrots into a tiny dice and add to pasta.
roasted red pepper dip
ReplyDelete1 can chickpeas rinsed and drained
1 7oz jar of roasted red peppers
1 cup mayo
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
blend it together cover and chill for an hour.
I made this for Shabbos this week. I didn't have the jar of roasted red peppers so I grilled 2 peppers. Also I put only 1/4 cup mayonniase.

Spinach Dip

1 large clove garlic
1 cup mayo
1 tsp salt

ReplyDelete2 - 15 oz cans creamed corn
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine - melted
3 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
combine all ingredients. Pour into 9x13 and bake on 350 for 1 1/2 hours
Blondies

1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips
preheat oven to 350
spray a 9x9 baking pan
combine all and spread in pan bake for 25-30 minutes

1 bag romain lettuce

1/2 red onion - sliced thin

2 plum tomatoes - dieced

crushed tortilla chips

1 1/2 lbs skirt steak

3 Tbs. lemon juice

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper
-
2 avacados
-
1 plum tomato peeled and diced
-
2 tsp salt
-
2 tsp. black pepper

2 Tbs. lemon juice
-
1/2 cup olive oil
-
1 1/2 Tbs. BBQ sauce
-
1 1/2 Tbs. Balsamic Vinegar
-
1 Tbs. honey
Instructions
In a large salad bowl combine lettuce, red onion, plum tomatoes, and chips.
Soak the steak in water for 1 hour. combine lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Rub on steak and plac ein ziplock bag to marinate for 2 -4 hours. Broil meat for about 6 minuteson each side or until well done. Add to salad.
Combine avacados, plum tomatos, salt pepper and lemon juice to make a guacamoli. Add to salad.
Mix oil, bbq sauce, vinegar, and honey. Toss with salad.
Broccoli Slaw:

2 Tbs. plus a little vinegar

1/3 cup plus a drop of sugar

½ tsp. salt
Craisins
Instructions
Mix dressing together and pour on top of slaw mix.
Refrigerate for a while before serving.
