Dinner Tonight - Shabbos Menu7/20

Just a bit of company this week so the menu is not too extensive. I did try out several new recipes this week. Let me know if you want any recipes.   Have a beautiful Shabbos!!!

  2. 3 eggs, 1 cup oil, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder - mix all together ad put aside...grate 4 large zucchini (2 peeled and 2 unpeeled) with the smallest side of the grater, place in a stariner so all liquad drains off with 1 tsp salt. grate 1 spanish onion and 12 button mushrooms (reg size grate - not tiny) and mix with drained zucchini. Add it all to the batter that you put aside along with 1 clove garlic minced and pepper to taste and mix to combine. spoon into greesed muffin tins. bake for 1/2 hour on 350 . cool and remove from pan.

  5. 6 large eggs
    1 3/4 cup sugar
    2 cups flour
    1 cup oil
    1 tbs vanilla
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 cup mini choc chips
    1/2 cup choc syrup

    Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy (approx 5 min) Add in flour oil vanilla and powder and mix until combined. use 2 loaf pans that are greased. Pour 1/4 batter into each pan. drizzle 2 tbs syrup over each pan and marbleize. sprinkle with 1/4 cup of choc chips. pour reaming batter on each pan drizzle again with remaining syrup and sprinkle with rest of choc chips. bake 45 min on 350

  6. Hearts of palm salad:
    2 ripe avocados cut into chunks
    14 oz can hearts of palm drained and sliced
    1 pint grape tom's cut in half
    3 tbs mayo
    16 oz baby corn drained and sliced
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper

    place all in a bowl and mix gently until mayo and spices coat everything. serve cold.

  8. Roasted red pepper dip

    Ingredients
    -
    1 can chick peas - drained and rinsed
    -
    1 jar roasted red pepper
    -
    1 cup mayo
    -
    1 clove garlic
    -
    1/4 tsp salt
    -
    1/4 tsp black pepper

    Instructions

    blend it together cover and chill for an hour.
