Dinner tonight - Cheese Pretzels

Hey guys! For dinner tonight I am making cheese pretzels. It is a really quick dough to throw together and there is no rising time. Its my regular hot pretzel dough that I added cheese to it before i rolled it up and brushed with garlic oil when it came out of the oven (feel free to serve them as reg hot pretzels - they are delish!) Serve with marinara sauce and Chumus for dipping.  Add a salad and you have a complete meal. Its something both kids and grownups will enjoy.

Hot pretzels:

1 tbs. yeast
2 tbs. sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water

Activate yeast with water and sugar. Add in

3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
Mix by hand until smooth dough forms. In a pan pour 2 cups warm water with 1 tbs baking powder. Preheat oven to 350. Divide dough into 8 pcs. Shape into pretzels and dip in warm water mixture. Place on cookie sheet brush with egg (if just making without cheese sprinkle with kosher salt here) and bake for 12-15 minutes.
